This hot chocolate is smooth and rich. If you wish to add a bit of heat to it simply add a pinch of cayenne to your mug.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 4 oz milk chocolate - chopped
  • 1 oz dark Mexican chocolate - chopped
  • 1 shot espresso or 1 tablespoon instant espresso powder
  • Cinnamon
  • Fresh Whipped Cream
  • Cinnamon candies
Directions
  • Step 1 Heat milk and half and half over medium heat.
  • Step 2 Add chocolate.
  • Step 3 Stir until melted and and incorporated into milk mixture.
  • Step 4 Ladle into mug.
  • Step 5 Add shot of espresso or instant espresso powder.
  • Step 6 Stir.
  • Step 7 Top with fresh whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon and a few cinnamon candies.
  • Step 8 *For adult mug – add a shot of Kahlua*
