Ramen Noodle Salad

Ramen noodles aren’t just for college kids! This refreshing ramen noodle salad is crunchy, nutty, sweet and perfect for a hot summer night!
Ingredients
- 1 14oz bag of coleslaw
- 2 packages of uncooked ramen noodles without spice packets
- ¼ cup of sunflower seeds
- ¼ cup of toasted slivered almonds
- 1 bunch scallions
- Dressing:
- 6 tablespoons rice vinegar
- ½ cup canola oil
- ¼ cup sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Step 1 Start with the bag of coleslaw in a mixing bowl.
- Step 2 Add ramen noodles – breaking them into small chunks.
- Step 3 Add sunflower seeds, slivered almonds and scallions.
- Step 4 Toss together ingredients.
- Step 5 In a separate bowl add canola oil, rice wine vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.
- Step 6 Whisk.
- Step 7 Pour over ramen salad and mix well together.
- Step 8 Refrigerate.
- Step 9 Serve as a side with your next barbecue meal.
