White Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Super simple but so delicious.
Ingredients
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 cups half and half
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips (I use Ghiradelli)
- White chocolate peppermint truffles
Directions
- Step 1 Heat milk and half and half over medium heat.
- Step 2 Add chocolate chips and vanilla.
- Step 3 Mix well until chocolate is melted and incorporated into milk mixture.
- Step 4 Cook for about 10 minutes and then lower heat.
- Step 5 Ladle into mug.
- Step 6 Add white chocolate peppermint truffle to hot chocolate.
- Step 7 Garnish with fresh whipped cream and mint non-parielles.
- Step 8 *For an adult mug – add a shot of peppermint Schnapps*
