There’s Always Time For Brunch

There’s Always Time For Brunch

Spring is finally here and the sun is shining!  As the nicer weather approaches there seems to be more get togethers – Easter, Mother’s Day,  graduations, etc… I love all the celebrations but many of us still have other commitments on the weekends as well.  I find brunch is the perfect way to  still get together but have the rest of the day for all the other activities.  Like many of you, when you have a larger family, that means running to different homes for the holidays.  I host Easter morning at our house.  The Easter Bunny still visits my kids and they sill enjoy finding their Easter baskets full of treats.  Shortly after the egg finding, some family joins us for a casual breakfast before we go meet up with others.  I try to make things the day ahead so my kitchen is pretty tidy and I can be in the moment and enjoy my family.  My vegetable strata and French toast muffins are two recipes I can make in advance and bake off Easter morning.  The house smells delicious and with a few other items such as a baked ham, fresh fruit, coffee, and juice I’m all set.  There’s no excuse not to entertain if you have make ahead recipes that can save you some time.  So invite your family and friends over and let’s start enjoying the warm weather together!Tulips
