4 Cheese Herb Bread

Ingredients
- 3 eggs - jumbo
- 4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 cups Colby cheese - shredded
- 1/3 cup parmesan cheese - grated
- 1/3 cup Asiago cheese - shredded
- 2/3 cups mozzarella cheese - shredded
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
Directions
- Step 1 In a stand mixer fitted with the dough hook, combine the milk, yeast, and honey.
- Step 2 Let rest for 5 to10 minutes, until bubbly on top.
- Step 3 Add eggs, 4 cups flour, and salt to yeast mixture.
- Step 4 Using the dough hook, mix until the flour is completely incorporated, about 4-5 minutes.
- Step 5 Scrap sides to make sure it is all combine and mix until it is smooth to touch.
- Step 6 Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let sit at room temperature for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Step 7 In a small bowl, mix the herbs, and garlic together into a pastelike consistancy.
- Step 8 In a separate bowl combine the four cheese and toss.
- Step 9 Add herb and garlic mixture to cheese and mix.
- Step 10 Punch the dough down and roll out onto a lightly floured surface, creating a large rectangle about 12 x 18 inches. Sprinkle the cheese, garlic and herb mixture evenly over the dough.
- Step 11 Starting with the long edge furthest from you, roll the dough into a log. Keep it tight as you go.
- Step 12 When you reach the edge of the other side, pinch along the edge to seal and tuck under.
- Step 13 With the log facing you, cut dough in half lengthwise keeping a small portion of the top part together.
- Step 14 Expose the filling by turning the filling towards the outside.
- Step 15 Take the two dough ropes and cross them over each other in a twisting motion until it is a criss-cross rope of dough.
- Step 16 Take one end of the dough and twist it into a circle
- Step 17 Place onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Cover and let sit 15 minutes.
- Step 18 Bake the bread for 30-35 minutes in a 350 degree oven, until the top is golden brown. Slice and serve warm.
