Applesauce Wantons

These little apple filled packages are not only adorable but they are a perfect mouthful of fall. Add to your dessert table for your guest to grab one enjoy!

Ingredients
- 4 medium apples - I used McIntosh. Washed, peeled, and diced into small cubes.
- 3 tablespoons of apple cider
- 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 24 wanton wrappers
- Water
- Cooking spray
- Powder sugar & caramel sauce for topping
Directions
- Step 1 After you have washed, peeled and diced apples into cubes start cooking them on stove top on medium heat.
- Step 2 Add apple cider.
- Step 3 Stir.
- Step 4 Once apples start to get soft add sugar and cinnamon. Mix well and reduce the heat. Cook until the consistency is very smooth with few chunks.
- Step 5 Remove from heat.
- Step 6 Lay wanton wrappers on a flat surface.
- Step 7 Fill wanton with a teaspoon of applesauce filling.
- Step 8 Using your finger – dip into water and run around the edges of the wrapper.
- Step 9 Pull together and pinch creating little packages.
- Step 10 Repeat until applesauce is gone.
- Step 11 Place into air fryer and spray with cooking spray.
- Step 12 Cook on 390 degrees for about 6 minutes. Check because every air fryer is different.
- Step 13 Sprinkle with powder sugar and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
- Step 14 Serve warm.
