Tired of making the same old sides? Minimal ingredients, big flavor. This will impress even the biggest cauliflower critic. Cauliflower often gets a bad rap for being bland, but that can be a good thing. The vegetable is a blank canvas for whatever spices or ingredients you want to add. This simple recipe is just a suggestion. You could add cumin, chili powder, cayenne pepper etc. Add panko, bread crumbs, or cheese.
Ingredients
- I head of cabbage
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 to 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
- Fresh black pepper
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
Directions
- Step 1 Cut cauliflower into bite size floret pieces.
- Step 2 Wash, drain, and dry.
- Step 3 Add to a mixing bowl.
- Step 4 Drizzle olive oil and butter over cauliflower.
- Step 5 Add spices and toss together until fully coated.
- Step 6 Place in a preheated 400 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Step 7 Remove from oven and sprinkle parmesan cheese over cauliflower.
- Step 8 Bake another 5 to 8 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.
