Sugared Cranberries and Rosemary Garnish

A simple yet elegant garnish for your next holiday dessert is sugared cranberries and rosemary.  It’s incredibly simple but looks so pretty and festive.  Simply take a handful of cranberries and place them in a bowl of water. Remove and drop them into a bowl of sugar.  With clean hands pick them up and roll them in the palms of your hand – coating the berries.  Place them on a dish to dry.  Take the rosemary springs and dip them in water.  Remove and taking one stem at a time dip the sprig into the bowl of sugar.  Gently shake any extra sugar off the rosemary sprigs and place on a dish to dry.
