Apple Cider Donut Bread Pudding
October 21, 2021
Do you ever have leftover doughnuts from a get together that you would hate to see go to waste? We recently had my son's soccer team over for a pre game pasta dinner. With several desserts available for the boys we ended up with a dozen or more doughnuts. I decided to make them into a bread pudding.

Ingredients
- 2 dozen apple cider doughnuts
- 6 eggs
- 4 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- Cinnamon and sugar
- For Maple Glaze
- 1/3 cup Confectioners' sugar
- 3 tablespoons real maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons milk
Directions
- Step 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Step 2 Cut apple cider donuts into chunks
- Step 3 Place in a 9×13 baking dish
- Step 4 In a mixing bowl crack 6 eggs and whisk
- Step 5 Add milk and vanilla to eggs
- Step 6 Whisk
- Step 7 Pour mixture over doughnuts
- Step 8 Bake for 30 to 35 minutes making sure not to overbake. It’s a pudding so it should be custardy.
- Step 9 Pour melted butter over top and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
- Step 10 Bake another 5 minutes
- Step 11 For Maple Glaze
- Step 12 Mix Confectioner’s sugar, maple syrup, and milk together. Whisk.
- Step 13 Drizzle over baked Apple Cider Donut Bread Pudding and enjoy!!
